The equipment and the operating need
Inventory, payroll, rent, utilities and opening expenses compete for the same cash as a new oven or refrigeration system. Financing can spread the equipment purchase cost over time and leave more cash available for day-to-day operations.
GFLS reviews the purchase in context: the business history, cash flow, equipment, vendor and the reason for the project. Tell us whether the equipment supports a replacement, renovation, new location or a change in service.
Planning a kitchen package? Send the itemized equipment list, vendor quote and installation or opening schedule. A clear project overview helps us identify the next practical step.
Individual assets and equipment packages may be considered. Eligibility depends on the equipment, business, seller and overall transaction.

Address repairs, kitchen downtime or service interruptions with a planned equipment purchase.
Bring the equipment list, opening budget, ownership experience and planned in-service date together.
Review equipment needed for a new menu, service offering or kitchen configuration.
Add cooking, prep, refrigeration or holding capacity while considering the rest of the operating budget.
Cash flow, business history, credit, obligations and what the purchase needs to accomplish are considered together.
GFLS has worked with equipment transactions since 2009 and helps applicants understand the information needed for review.
The funding path depends on the request. GFLS evaluates available direct and partner funding options where appropriate.
Equipment age, condition, value, configuration, seller and useful life are part of reviewing the assets.
Select startups and newer operators may be considered. Ownership experience, the business plan and available resources may carry additional weight.
Multiple qualifying assets and eligible delivery or installation costs may be considered when the project is clearly documented.

Prepare for review
Start with the application, your most recent three months of business bank statements and an itemized quote. Include the project timing so we can understand how the equipment purchase fits your operation.
Tell us about the business, vendor, equipment package, total purchase amount and timing. Include the itemized quote.
GFLS reviews the financial picture, equipment and operating reason for the purchase, and explains any additional information needed.
If approved, review the proposed structure and complete the final documents, seller requirements and funding conditions.
New and used equipment may be considered. Used assets are reviewed for factors such as age, condition, value, seller, configuration and remaining useful life.
Potentially. GFLS can review multiple qualifying assets in a single request, subject to the businesses, vendors, equipment, delivery timing and available structure.
Select startups and newer food-service businesses may be considered. The review may place more weight on ownership experience, the business plan, available cash, equipment and the overall transaction.
Eligible delivery, installation and other approved project costs may be considered. Provide a complete itemized quote so the requested costs can be reviewed.
Available programs may have different credit requirements. GFLS reviews credit with cash flow, operating history, obligations, equipment and the purpose of the purchase. No single factor guarantees approval.
A credit decision and funding are separate steps. Timing depends on a complete package, equipment and seller requirements, final documents and any approval conditions. Share your project deadline early.
